The next floor
The first Train Unique floor outside Louisiana has an address: Trinity Training Facility, 117 W 5th St, downtown Long Beach. Palm trees, ocean air, and the exact same standard that built Lafayette and Baton Rouge.
What's coming
Train Unique California starts the way every Train Unique floor starts — one coach, one athlete, a session built around them. One-to-one personal training first, Fun Fit for the youngest athletes, and the rest added the way it was added here: when it's earned, not before.
It's led from inside the family — Jose Antonio Sosa, Train Unique California's Director of Operations, a father raising three daughters with disabilities and a certified trainer who spent years running IEP goals one-to-one in a special-needs classroom before any of this had a name. His full story is on the who we are page.
Everything Lafayette proved — the floor, the word athlete, the expectation instead of pity — is what's being built next to the Pacific.
Why it matters here
Families out west have been finding these floors from two thousand miles away for years — the videos, the stories, the athletes. Now the program is coming to them: the beach cities, the South Bay, Long Beach, and the families all over Southern California who've been told to wait long enough.
The California site has the programs, the funding picture for regional center families, and the story — and it'll carry the build as it happens.
Interest list
Tell us who your athlete is and where you are — you'll be the first call when the Southern California doors open, and your answers help decide where the floor goes and what it holds. No commitment. Just first in line.
We read every one of these. When the Southern California floor opens its doors, you're among the first to know — and what you told us about your athlete helps us build it right.
